became
operational w.e.f.
25.03.09
with
its
temporary
headquarters
at
the office
of
Commissioner
of
Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, Bhubaneswar.
Md.
Zaheed
OPS
(I)
has
taken
over
as
I/c DCP
(Security)
cum
head
of
the
battalion
on
01.04.2010.
Government of Odisha has
allotted
80
(eighty)
acres
of
land
in mouza
Jamujhari
for
establishment
of
the
Special
Security
Battalion.
A
Master
Plan
for
development
of
infrastructure
on
the
allotted
land
has
already
been
prepared.
Construction
of
Administrative
Building
and
100-men
barrack are
expected
to
be
taken
up
shortly. |
